Established over 30 years ago, Diplomatt School trains bilingual communicators for high level work in interpreting.
The school provides small, intimate classes, with instructors who are themselves professionals in the field. Careful guidance is provided, the students leave with “diplomas in trans-cultural training” (hence “Diplomatt”), and a good many today have interpreting and translating careers.
For Both Tomorrow’s Global Communicators and Those of Today Looking to Brush Up their Skills
A theme of the 21st century has become the fight for survival–on a personal level, for businesses, as a nation, and as a global entity. We have reached a stage where our problems cannot be solved by military might or even financial power. We face shared problems and surely the only appropriate strategy is to communicate with each other and jointly work toward solutions.
As we move toward globalization, I strongly feel an increasing appreciation for our varied human cultures. We are embracing tolerance as we understand more and more about different peoples, religions, and the like.
The most important key component for human survival is, simply, language. Language is, after all, something the human animal acquires and uses to understand without even being conscious of it.
